The X National Conference on Document Delivery and Interlibrary Collaboration will be held in Pavia, May 30-31, 2019 hosted by the University. It is organized by Comitato Biblioteche Nilde in partnership with Università degli Studi di Pavia, Area della Ricerca del CNR di Bologna,  Fondazione Policlinico S. Matteo, ICS Maugeri Spa SB, Fondazione C. Mondino, Istituto IMATI “E. Magenes” del CNR,  Settore Tutela Ambientale Promozione del Territorio e Sostenibilità della Provincia di Pavia, Biblioteca Civica “C. Bonetta”, and Biblioteca Universitaria di Pavia.

In the framework of document delivery, NILDE (Network for Interlibrary Document Exchange) is a service of excellence for knowledge sharing and information transfer, as well as a reference community for Italian libraries mainly involved in health, scientific, and academic fields. The aim of the event is to extend the network to other types of libraries and to other important structures operating locally, not always being part of a known information channel.

Everyone has the right to benefit from critical information, whose access and content are taken from non random tools; using NILDE could be the right solution and a practical application.

On Wednesday, 29 May, Nilde training courses will take place. During the sessions, the CBN training workgroup will show the main features of NILDE and its proper use.

The courses are organized in a sequential way. Everyone can attend classes, which are free, but registration is required. NILDE courses will take place in Aula L3 (45 seats), on the first floor of Palazzo San Tommaso, Piazza del Lino 2, Pavia.

• an information point at the railway station from 10:30 to 11:30, and from 13:30 to 14:30;
• a welcome desk at San Tommaso reception from 13:30 to 15:00;
• the reception at the University main entrance (Strada Nuova, 65) will provide all necessary information to reach Palazzo San Tommaso
